I will be fishing Northern Illinois with my wife and old man. This will only be my second time out this year. I lost an upper 40' s right by the dang boat on the opener and have been anxious to get back out. Especially because the old man went in the meantime without me and scored a 44" fish (his PB).

Home waters.... some of the best fishing around, but I still travel elsewhere for some odd reason.

I working Saturday so I can get a weekday off next week. Sunday morning might find me on the water for a couple of hours...depending on the family's wishes.

lots of luck,

Saw a HOG in Waconia last weekend that I need to boat. She was long and fat! Scared the pizz out of me as she was right next to my boat and about 6 inches under and I was looking in the water to see if I could see any crappies. Tried to get her with my 1/8 oz Berkly Blade Dancer but she would not have any of that That would have been a quick fight. LOL

Good luck all!

Saturday morning we are flying into Florida for 8 days. The first tropical storm of the season is bearing down on where we are going.
I hope the Gulf fish like rainy conditions like muskies do up here!

The couch. Had yet another hand surgery this week. 6-8 weeks of rehab. Can't even work on the boat or tackle with this clunker of a cast up to my elbow. Not all bad though...got some really fun pills!
