Like Chuck I will be working. But I like going up the week after Memorial better. 1 more week for the fish to recover from the spawn, kids still in school so people less likely to run up that weekend (less crowded)

dhacker - ever hit up the Apple river this early in the season or at all? I've Been there for very late fall bite but that is about it.

dhacker - ever hit up the Apple river in Polk Co. this early in the season or at all? I've only been to the late fall bite there.

Some dark waters (few options) up in Iron county and then down to Vilas for a day or two...Manitowish chain and/or Big.
