Posts: 284 | There is a lake that somebody I know lives on and his neighbor told him that a 55" ski was shocked by the dnr in recently. I am really curious if this lake really does have ski's for real because I don't really believe this guy. The lake is in Waukesha co. WI if any one would like to PM me. Last time a posted a lake name I think I got on some of your bad sides. I would really like to avoid that. I don't know who to ask besides the people on this board (the experts) because I can't find anything about it anywhere.

You can get a book from the DNR that lists every WI lake and what species are in it. It also lists depths, type of boat launch, etc. Have you tried Google?

Posts: 284 | Yes I have Googeled the lake name with all possibilities of lake x and musky muskies fish surveys etceteras and I got nothing. The lake is not on the DNR web site as a lake with muskie's. I hate to tell everyone what lake I am talking about but I can give a hint or should I not. Edited by ghitierman 5/12/2007 12:07 AM

Posts: 2361 | On a list or not, if the lake has an outlet(or inlet for that matter), and the outlet connects to any musky water, there is always the possiblity that a fish made it's way to the lake. There is also the chance that someone let their pet musky lose in Lake Waukesha and it is waiting for you to catch it... Interesting challenge, fishing for the only fish of its kind in a lake, might keep you busy for a while.

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | Even though the DNR doesn't have it on it's website they should know wether it has muskies or not. Why don't you just give them a call? Somebody should be able to help you out. curleytail
