Muskie Fishing -> General Discussion -> Tournament/Guide Package

Subject: Tournament/Guide Package

Just wanted to offer a unique opportunity to those who frequent Muskie First. I am considering offering a "tournament tactics" guide package for the PMTT event on Cass Lake on August 25th and 26th.

The guide package would include a guided day or two of prefishing as well as both tournament days. If you are willing to pay for half the entry you can keep half of any tournment winnings as well. (Which could potentially make your guided days end up being free for you.)

I have fished this particular week on Cass in past years and have done quite well. Hopefully, it will continue this year for the tournament. Do you have what it takes?

If anyone has an interest send me an e-mail at [email protected] or call me at 612-508-2759.

I also have an opening on the Big V the weekend of the Mille Lacs tournament(August 18th and 19th). Just think, almost all of the other muskie heads will be on the Big Pond. Lots of open juicy spots.

Josh, I will call you in the AM. I just had my partner bail on me. We qualifed in 2006 for the championships, and I would love to jump in with you.

Josh is a great fisherman with proven results both guiding and in tournaments.
even better than that, he's a good person.

a couple days in the boat with him would be a great experience!

I talked with Josh last nite and he talked about offering this package, and he was throwing it out as guided tournament package looking for feedback or what type of interest, guessing you could take him pre-event. I know in the past other people have hired guides to fish tournaments(not a first), financials need to be workeds out. He know Cass well and wanted to jump in, but I am headed to Canada that week. We fished the PMTT Mega, was my first event with Josh, we boat 6-7 fish 36-39", watched the winners catch 2-3 winning fish, lost 5-6 fish mid forty and bigger, and was play with a fish that pushing 54"(new boat), it was a heartbreaker, but definitely got us going.

He is on mill lac guiding today, so will be able to answer more later.
