Hey fellas,
just wanted to introduce myself.
i just found out about this site, and to say the least, im jacked about being a part of it.
My name is Thomas Allen,
i work for The Iowa Sportsman Magazine
www.IowaSportsman.com

i spend lots of fall time bowhunting whitetails,
shed hunt in feb and march, then i divide my time up with turkey hunting and musky fishing in April and May.
The summer is solely devoted to chasing big skiis.....well any size of musky is good for me.....:)
i dont have many fish to my name, but i love this game, and you can bet if im on the water, im probably musky fishing....my biggest being 48" from West Battle Lake, MN.
My Wife and I are expecting our first child in mid November, terrible timing on my part.....thats the best couple weeks of deer season....:) oh well, worth the sacrifice im sure....
Her family has a cabin on a small lake about 45 minutes straight north of Alex, MN. and about 10 minutes south of Battle. that is where i spend most of my Minnesota ski fishing.....hopefully i will be hitting a few others this summer.

any how, thats me
thanks for reading,
again....cool site!!!
Keep your lines wet

Do any of you Iowan's or anyone else for that matter, know Lance Christiansen from N.W. Iowa and if he's a member of M.F. ? I heard he may be guiding ski's. I knew him in my falconry days. Jeff

West Battle Lake, huh, there's some big fishy's in in that lake! I stayed on that lake last June for a PWT event. But welcome to the site.

Welcome aboard. WhitetailFIRST is on this summer's slate, so stay tuned there, too.

Welcome Thomas. My Muskies Inc. Chapter is having an outing on West Battle in October. There are plenty of nice fish in there, with 50 inchers a good possibility. Lots of good Bass lakes south of Battle Lake too. I fish that area quite a bit. I'm sure you'll enjoy this site. It's easy to navigate around and you can get answers to questions in seconds.
