| I Have a Lawrence x-71 on the bow that is wired to the fuse panel located on the counsel. A Eagle 320 located on the counsil that is wired to the starting battery. When both on I get all type of readings that are not true. Both locaters show different depths. Need help. Thanks

Location: north central wisconsin | bob, that is really one of the mysteries of life! I have 4 or 5 different lowrance/eagle units in two different boats, and I cannot get both units to work in unison in each rig. i still use my old vexilar up front for that reason. I've tried every battery, transducer configuration imagionable and still get lots of interference. That said, several people run the very same units in their rigs, with no trouble. I am beginning to think it is in the boat... Hoping that with the dual frequency transducer in the trolling motor I orderred, will fix it. |

| I run a X-111 on the console, and a 334 up front. 1 foot difference in reading, but that should be right, because I didn't set the keel offset on either. Yet. Not sure I will. The TM ducer sits lower in the water than the transom mounted one.
I do not get any interference, and I was in up to 26 feet this weekend. My old rig with an X15 and a X-51 up front, interference would start at around 20 feet. Console unit to the main battery, and the bow unit from the existing wires in the bow from the console block.
Not sure why some have interference issues, and some do not.
