Location: FORT ATKINSON | Does anybody know where the best place to mount a marine radio antenna. Does the placement of the antenna have any affect on GPS recivers? Any input would be a great help. Thanks Todd |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | From my own experience with ours, I have never had any known interference with my antennae or know of anyone that has personally. I had mine mounted right next to my console without any problems. I don't see why you would. I would imagine they run on different frequencies or whatever you wanna say. |

| The placement should not affect the performance of the GPS. The only advice I have on mounting is put it in a place where it is least likely to get in the way. I mounted a 4 foot antenna on the passanger console--I also mounted the marine radio under the passenger console for extra room on the drivers side. Good luck! |

Location: FORT ATKINSON | Thanks for all the info it gave me some good ideas. I got the radio and the antenna mounted and working today. I mounted the antenna just in front of the rails that hold my rod holders. I have the antenna on a rachet mount so I can fold it down. Thanks again for all the help. Todd |
