Please attend a meeting and vote for the improvements to the musky regulations.
There will be an authored proposal for the 54" size limit on Green Bay and this is an important one that we need your support for.

The hearings start at 7pm and you don't need to attend in the county that you live in.

| as far as i know, voting online is not possible. however, i do know that most (all?) counties have gone to the electronic fill-in-the-oval forms and that you're allowed to pick one up, fill it out right away and leave without waiting to hear all of the discussion. this can help people who don't have the time to sit through the whole thing.
yes, results are generally available on the DNR website quickly once the counties report them to the DNR. |

Seriously, get out and vote tonight. Let's keep a certain Pipe bar owner and taxidermist from killing any more 50" fish. He killed 6 last fall alone. Just to hang up in his bar. |

| The idea of leaving the seaosn open until Dec 31 is a great idea.
The lift off rig idea is an enforcement nightmare and I don't see it happening. |

Location: NE Wisconsin | You will be able to walk in and get a ballot and vote for all booklet questions and leave when you want, BUT, for the 54" proposal for Green Bay, that question is not in the booklet, so not on the general ballot. All proposals brought up from the floor, including the 54" GB issue, will have a separate ballot and numbering system. I am not sure how each county will asign a number to various "floor" proposals for that different ballot???

| The quick strike rig is an advisory question, to get a feel on how the public thinks about this. It would not be worded the way it is in the booklet. If there is positive feedback, it would be introduced next year in a better form. I raised the question about circle hooks, and they said to write it down and submit it. Rob(Nightmare) explained to the crowd about the single hook rig killing fish, and asked that they vote for this.

| Here's the final results on all the ballot items from Monday night, but not the 54" resolution...still looking for those.
The good news is you will see an incredible level of support on all the ballot issues for musky related items. This indicates good news for all of us!
Not for the GB 54, but for questions which were in the booklet.

We did not get into the specifics. I merely asked if the restriction for bait over 8" would include circle hooks. The answer was this was to gauge the response of the public, and would be represented in a more concise way next year. |

Not only did you confirm what I heard last weekend, but a USCG CPT certified guide out of GB also sent 6 dead ones to the taxidermist. Time to make muskys die of old age, and following our baits only to see a fisherman sporting a muskyfirst ballcap and having a stroke! LOL |
