Location: Minnesota | Who would you guys recommend for a guided trip to Vermilion? I know a lot of the guys spend time on Mille Lacs, but I will be up on Vermilion for a week with the family and I would really like to get on some fish.

Location: Lafayette, IN | Tom and Ace know the entire lake from east to west as well as any two guys you will meet. They are great guys too. Chad certainly knows the lake well too and has a reputation for getting on big fish. These three would be my short list.

| I heard Chad will not be on the Vermilion in July but will be the rest of the season. If you get on his calendar, you will not be disappointed. |

Location: oswego, il | All the above mentioned are great giudes and worthy. MuskyTom is a character for sure, Ace lives right there year round and Chad is a die hard. I am not as familiar with the rest but know from others they are very good. |

Depending on the time of the trip, and date booked by the guides mentioned. Josh would be my first choice, just getting his feet wet at guiding, but knows the body well, then probably chad then tom. All three good choices, Luke and Jason are great guys know them well,, but the 3 above have more time ove the Big V and have better overall patterns. Chad will be gone early summer due som famliy obligations.

Location: Minneapolis | I've fished with Dave Swenson twice on Vermilion, and I highly recommend him. He's low key and a real good stick. He didn't win the PMTT there last fall by being a slouch! His web site is http://muskieguide.homestead.com/
In the two days (separated by a couple of years) my friend Bob and I fished with Dave, we boated four muskies up to 49" and lost another at the boat.
I'm sure all the other guides mentioned are good, but I can personally vouch for Dave. |
