Location: Minnesota | Question, can you guys help with your opinion on making big double bladed bucktails. What would you like to see OR what have you had the most luck with? Just looking for your top pick.

#8s OR #10s
Blades (colors):
What colors would you go with
Skirt type:
Hair, marabou, tinsel/mylar OR rubber/silicon
Skirt hair on first coil (can pick one, two or three):
Skirt hair on second coil (can pick one, two or three):
Hook size:
5/0 OR 7/0
Overall length:
8inches, 10 inches, OR 12 inches
Overall weight:
2oz., 3oz., OR 4oz.
Wire will be .062 this used to make these.

Location: Minnesota | Thanks guys! Didn't know if the blade art was a little too much or not. I know a lot of women fish for muskies. I guess if they buy one the sticker will fall off fast anyway. Seems all of the stickers on my Cowgirls are gone in about a day anyway. Any ideas for the colors or sizes of the components?
I of course like the big #10s and the 5/0 hooks for better hook ups. IMO these types of lures don't need the big 7/0 hooks. I only like the big hooks on baits that the sides impair the possibility of the fish getting hooked. In the last few years I have downsized some of my hooks on baits and have seen an increase in hookups. As for colors I am not sure I have a favorite. Depends on the time and situation.

I have not seen many big double bladed bucktails with hair. Any intrest in those? The reason I ask is that the flashabou/mylar/tinsel bucktails are coming out of hte woodwork. Just trying to make something with different materials that would be of value. IMO the big blades are 90% of what brings in the big girls anyway. The tackle on these alone without the skirts is pleanty to grab some attention. Just curious.
