I'm in the process of trying to build a crankbait and I want to use through wire construction. Such as a Wishmaster or a slammer. How do they get the wire in and out of the lip then through the body. I built a large crank last year with through wire, but it involved a very elaoborate system of U bolts and eye bolts and became very heavy. I am going to try again this year but I need to lighten the system up.

Also have any of you used Teak wood for your lures? I've got a board on order, yes very expensive. But teak is very dense and will not rot very easily.
