Location: Wausau | Right now the TowTector is on the top of my list.
I would like one that mounts to the hitch, but maybe with a heavier brush or flap.
Other options:
Cabels Rock Tamers @ 200$ or Ultra Guard at 100$ - what do you think?

TJ - does your's mount on the hitch or do you have to drill into the frame?
S - I looked at those before - good not only for trailer, but side of boat as well.

My Kwikpfyt has a two inch hole that you put the hitch in and then you tighten two bolts on the bottom side. So it's permanently mounted with your hitch. So it makes it very easy to take the mud flap off. All you have to do is take the pin out of the hitch and pull the whole mud flap and hitch out. That's why I like this system better because it's not permanently mounted to the truck. But if you give me until the weekend, I will take some pics for you this weekend and have them posted for you. |

Location: Kentucky | I bought the UltraGuard last summer and like it just fine. But you have to buy a piece of angle iron for the install, so around $125. The other systems are fancier and maybe help your tow mileage 1 or 2 per gallon, but I just wanted something durable and low cost. |

Here are some pics of the Kwikpfyt mud flap I am using. If you notice, I flipped the mud flap upside down, all it is, is two bolts you tighten on the bottom side of your hitch plug, that's it! Then you are able to pull the whole hitch and mud flap off whenever you like. This mudflap system has two or three different skirt lengths available. One other thing about this mudflap, your gas milage won't be affected at all or as much as you would if you had a big rubber mat on the back of your truck.
