Guys, going through my baits this winter I found that a favored Globe had been turned gooey by storing against a rubber tail. The damage is partial and I wiped it as clean as I could with alcohol and set it aside to see if it would be OK.
Nope, the finish is still soft and sticky. Is there any cure for this or do have to scrape / strip it to repaint?

Thanks for confirming. Oh, well, she was a little beatup anyway and ready for a new skin. Going to stay with the gold/black. Have the base coat on already.
