Posts: 94 | Kevin Your plan worked. You found the real reason most of us fish for muskies, it is the people we fish with. The fish,as said by a well known guide from MN on a forum, are just a bonus. Chris

Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | Well written sir! I am in a similar boat as you sir....no boat for that matter, but if you are ever interested in taking a short trip to the Point area I would be more than willing to teach you a bit about the mighty Wisconsin River muskies!

Posts: 8791 | Kevin You may well have made the quickest transition from rookie to writing muskie articles in the history of fishing! Does the plan include any guiding, maybe a TV show down the road? I have to say reading about your experiences over the last year or so has been one of the things that keeps me coming back to Muskiefirst!

Kevin, Very nice read. The opening paragraph caught my attention immediately. My memory, especially after getting up at 3am afer 3 hours sleep, is not that great but I remeber the yellow Ranger vividly. I beleive one of you asked me where you could get gas on the lake when I was pulling out at the launch one July morning in '05 on BSG. Small world. I fish that puddle quite a bit. If you get back up there again look me up. [email protected]

Location: The Yahara Chain | Good job, Kevin. The plan in'07 will include some Yahara Chain muskies, caught with the casting method and lots and lots of pizza. My last two thin crusts have been pretty tasty....now on to a Chicago pie. PizzaHopeful I sure am glad that Paul Chryst is staying. SEC (Sled) beware.
