| I could not log in for some reason today. So I am posting as a guest.
I already have a Minn Kota Powerdrive with Auto Pilot and I love it except the way it deploys and stores back up. I know this has been covered in the past and I have tried everything-WD40 works well. My question is about the V2 that is now out. Is it different in how it deploys? Is it easier to move in and out of the water? I may sell my current one and get the new one if it is better. Thanks in advance, Tom |

I'd certainly like to get the new one however! |

| The V2 does deploy much easier. Instead of lifting up on the release, now you push down, and it nudges the motor off the stow pads. Stowing is about the same. They did change the foot control, too.
The Terrova however, is significantly easier to both deploy, and stow. I have one on order for the new boat. It can't get here soon enough! The foot pedal is totally different than the Powerdive footpedals. |
