Location: sweden | I am going to buy a new glider/jerkbaitrod for this season.I live in Sweden and here we don´t have so many brands to choose from.My store carries Lamiglas,Diamondback and St Croix.Feeling the rods in the store the Lamiglas 7foot rated 2-6ounce seems like an awesome rod.Does anyone have any experience in this rod.Sorry for my rusty english..... |

| Cartilo..i have lamiglass jerkbait rods...and daimond backs. my diamondbacks weigh less than my lamiglass, causing me less fatigue. if they have a diamondback that is rated for bigger jerkbaits (lure ounces), i would personally get a diamond back. but also prefer rods longer than 7 foot also.. but a 7 footer might be perfect for how you fish...so..

Location: sweden | They do have a Diamonback6´9 up to 5 ounces.But I like the Lami more ,feels like it has more"power"than the Diamondback.I also weighed both rods in the store and the difference was almost zero.Lamiglas7´heavy2-6=208grams Diamondback 6´9 2-5=198grams.I will mostly throw mid size gliders such as cobbs and smuttly dogs etc with this rod and I believe that a longer rod wouldn`t fit me fishing with gliders. |

Location: sweden | Today I´ve bought a Lamiglas 7´heavy 2-6 ounce.I´m going to fish hard with it this spring.The rod will be used for throwing heavy gliders and catching big northern pike.After the season I´m going to give you my opinion about the rod. |

Location: Green Bay, WI | I have 1 Lamiglas, 2 St. Croix, and 2 Gander Guide series rods. The Lamiglas is my favorite rod. I'm going to get another soon. Probably an 8'6" XH 1-8oz. |

A great friend of mine uses and swears by Lamiglas rods. Good luck with the big pike! |

Location: Iowa | I have a Lamiglass 8'6" extra heavy that I use for larger jerkbaits...it's light and long so you hardly have to bend over to figure-8...love mine...
