Posts: 427 Location: Roseau | I have a small side cabin on Oak Island on LOTW. Right know it needs some TLC, and am looking at putting some work into it and getting it ready to possibly rent out starting next summer. I am just looking to see how many might be interested in renting it. It would be available from the 3rd weekend in June to ice up and Monday to Friday. The cabin can sleep 4, and has bathroom with shower and a fridge. Dock with power is available and a grill for cooking. The cabin doesnt have a kitchen, but is within walking distance to a resort for meals or drinks. Price per night per person would be $25.00. I am mainly looking to rent out to musky guys during the week as the family is up during the weekends. If you have any questions PM me. Thanks for looking. If you have some dates and number of guys going in mind I will mark them down, I want to keep track, first come basis for dates saved. Could anyone interested in renting please PM me so I have your info in my inbox and is easier to keep track of. Thanks agian. Edited by Fisher 9/18/2007 1:20 PM

Location: Athens, Ohio | Yes, very possibly. My first thought was to offer you upkeep work in exchange for rent, but then I thought, when would I really take time away from fishing to do that? Cash is so much easier to come up with than time on that water. m

Posts: 427 Location: Roseau | Up keep is the hard part, I have 2 kids at home and hope to be able to work on it this winter and spring before fishing starts. If this works out it would be nice to have people booking every year and for them to have a permant place to rent and enjoy. Thanks all.

Posts: 427 Location: Roseau | $25 a night per person is correct. I am looking for guys who are up there to fish and sleep. No TV or phone (cell phone has signal at the cabin) or kitchen, mainly a place to crash at the end of each day, but also have the chance to walk next door to the resort for a meal or drink and not have much cleaning up to do at the cabin at the end of the trip. I figure the lower cost will draw in more people and have groups coming back every year. Thanks
