Can someone tell me how I can upload some clips I have??

put them on YouTube first http://www.youtube.com/
then after the video is uploaded to YouTube, view it.
the video appears upper left on the screen
there's a box upper right of the screen with two lines: one says "URL" and the other says "Embed"
copy the line from the "Embed" area and post it here in a thread.

We'll do this for the time being. Pretty soon you'll be able to upoad your video directly to MuskieFIRST, but until that time:

Sign up for a You Tube account.
Go to Upload a Video, click on it
Fill out the form
click on 'go upload a file'
Brouse to the file folder on your computer that has the video stored, click on it
Upload the video clip
Has to be under 100 megabites
Let the video load and process
LEAVE THE UPLOAD PAGE and go to 'My videos', you'll see your new video on top
Play the video. WHILE IT'S PLAYING right click on the 'embed' code in the bar on the right of the video display and copy it
Open a thread on Muskie, Walleye, or Ice FIRST, put --VIDEO: type in the description of the video--in the subject header
Describe the video, then scroll down two spaces, and hit paste or control/v.

Hit submit, and your video plays in the post.

Soon, we will have a video upload form similar to entering a fish in the LAX contest, and you will be able to play the video right here; MUCH better quality. Of course, the You Tube or Google video embeds will still work and will be more than welcome!

Yep as a registered member you can post video from any of the upload services like google or YouTube by by pasting the embed code right into the post. See the example below...

We are just finishing up testing on our own upload service, it should be ready to go in a week or two once we get our hardware set up. It works in a similar fashion (fill out form, browse to file and click submit), but the main advantage will be higher video encoding quality with our upload service. Use of our upload service will be limited to message board registered users for fishing and outdoor related videos only.
