| I have a small window to fish tommorrow. A yankee clipper will be coming through Ohio late in the day. This will no doubt freeze things up for a bit.
The lake is high and muddy with a temp around 42. Have any tactics worked for you under these conditions? musky39 |

| Troll the breaks with loud and bright crankbaits, if you can troll there.
If not, cast those crankbaits. Again, loud and bright. Work them slowly. Work the edges, either the breaks or the weed edges, if you still have any green weeds. |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | Work Bulldawgs as slow as you possibly can, lots of pauses. And be sure to get an autographed ball from the Yankee Clipper. |

| I'd start a fire in the fireplace and snuggle up with something that smells good.
The hell with Yankee Clippers, bring on global warming and year-round fishing.
Close the season when the water is too hot, not too cold. |

| Around here I would find the shad and cast/jig a rat-l-trap. |

| Find the warm water, be it the N, NE side of the lake or an incoming river/creek. Fish skirted jig and plastic combos, big Husky Jerks or slow moving Spring Dawgs. |
