Looks good. I see the end of the vise is round to accomodate coils. What are you doing to keep the coils straight while tying them? I use a length of wire from a coat hook to add backbone.

Looks sweet! Right now when I tie on a coil I have to run a piece of .051 wire through the coil, bend the end over on the wire and clamp the wire in the vise. The vise I use came with three sets of jaws that work OK on the hooks but not with the coils. Are you going to be selling these? I might be interested.

The cables from snowmobiles, etc, or lawn mower throttle level cable, the outer housing is what we use to tie bucktails with. Works really good.

Moore's Lures used to have one that was awesome. Not terribly cheap, but very well designed and constructed. I have the treble cartridge and the coil cartridge. I believe his son made/makes them.

I have a Renzetti Saltwater vice that has worked great for many years. I can tie the biggest trebles or a 1/80th oz ice jig with the same vice. For choke cable, I purchased the head only of their "Tube Fly" vice. Works great!!! It fits right on the saltwater base.
