| Does anyone know where on the internet a place to look at moon charts for 2007? Looking to plan my Canadian ADVENTURE for next summer, and it never hurts to plan around the moon phases.

Location: The Yahara Chain | Musky Hunter doesn't list anything for Canada. Here is a link to a website where you can create your own, all you need is gps coordinates to make a custom chart.

| no they don't but the calendar is a good start just to know the phases, new moon/full moon etc......exact times on the water are easily obtainable by your handheld or fixed unit GPS.
You can use I'Falls and be within a few minutes of most Western Ontario bodies of water... |

| Hey Brad -- does your GPS give you moon overhead and underfoot times along with the major and minor solunar periods or just rise/set times?

| mine only does the moon set/moon rise...i don't really watch those other times personally... I probably should..but don't...as yet... |

| That's true JD. From there you can extrapolate your major and minor period based on the sunrise/sunset/sun directly overhead times, but I really like the tables where it's all mapped out -- you know you've got a major from 11:13am to 1:11pm, sun directly overhead at 12:10, moon directly overhead at 11:53, and the actual moon phase hppens at 12:05 pm
Then when you don't catch a fish right at noon you can blame the weather! 
Seriously though, I've read a ton of stuff about solunar influence, and I am a believer. The only thing is that many times when everything "lines up" so to speak it's at 3:00 in the morning, or on a day when you can't be out... |
