Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | I have been fishing after dark more and more the last 5 years with outstanding sucess. Casting large bucktails have taken more fish last year than any other bait out of my boat. I have to say the Double X was my hottest bait of 2006 for casting after dark. As for trolling I would say the little Ernie kicked some tail also. What was your hot bait or baits for the past 2006 season after dark?

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Well after all the pm's and e-mails I have got from the invisable readers on the web sites I have to say the Top Raider and Crankbait is tops on a bunch of peoples lists. One thing I learned this season is that the Top raiders can be used in all water temps. I had a client that loved that bait and wanted to cast it after dark in late October. I told him it was not by first choice but anything can happen. He had the most action of the three guys in the boat. Crankbaits will always work anywhere anytime.
