| Hey guys. I am brainstorming over some ideas on where to go and when for next year. Looks like Kawarthas Chain might be in the scope for us. Question is what cabins are good that are on the lake and has anyone had any expierence at this location? Time of year would help too and also what part of the chain you may have been at. Ill be goin up there with a buddy that is lookin fo muskie as well but the 2 other guys dont have the dedication for muskie so they will be fishin for bass.
Any info would be Awesome...thanks guys and merry christmas! |

| I have done well on Pigeon lake in the Summer, multiple fish days and lots of muskies seen every day. Historically good action chain of lakes |

| if its a combo trip st clair is far superior for bass and mooskies. less mosquitos. just bring your cranks for muskies and 4 inch tubes for smallies |

| I really dont know this but would it be outdoor woodsy feel you would get being at St.Clair? seems pretty populated out there. (i may be wrong)i live in philly so i really need a break from all the city stuff |

| Kawartha and St. Clair are not outdoorsy or woodsy...They are pretty populated bodies of water. I fished Kawartha for a day this summer and it was okay...funny think is that the lakes are filled with a ton of good structure..almost too much...Was a nice day on the water though...Ben |

| The Kawartha chain has many more 50" fish than most think. Unfortunately they don't have the fatty forage to attain those tremendous girths... but you can expect to boat multiple fish/day and they are some of the scrappiest fighting Muskies you'll find.
