Who's headed out fishing this weekend? I have a holiday get together at my son's in Ashland Saturday, and Sunday the drive back and some time with my bow looking to fill my final tag. The weather looks to be back to winter by Sunday night here, with no break in sight.....ICE!!!!

I'm trying to find out if there's any fishable lake in N IL right now so I can hit the water for a few hours tomorrow. Supposed to be in the freaking FIFTIES??!! Otherwise, I may be drag'n baits in the local river for some crome and brown, and maybe green.

I will be heading over to our hunting/fishing shack near the Mississippi River to do some electrical work. If I have time, and if there is any ice left, I may try to find some backwater bluegills.
