A lot of the posts on the board here seem to revolve around reels and how they operate (or don't) and which ones to use. I talked to Chuck Brod from Sportsmen's Repair yesterday and he told me he will again be attending the musky shows this year and hanging at Rollie & Helen's booth. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to know the details on various reels to talk to a guy who spends day in and day out tearing these things apart and seeing what makes them tick. In fact when I spoke to him on the phone he was in the process of breaking down some new model reels just to get up to speed on how they work. He's also an avid musky fisherman so he knows what kind of stuff we are dealing with. Anyhow, Chuck said he would be at the Chicago Tri-Esox show and Milwaukee Muskie Expo for sure.
