Balck or white.
Chart. or orange work great also.
Bright on clear sunny days and dark colors when it's overcast or raining.

i fish a lot of river stained water too and based on what i throw and your list we're pretty close. i'd suggest adding in some deep red, orange, yellow and black. black in dark water is likely my best experience so far with reds and oranges mixed in. another combination i've done well with is bright yellow belly and transition to teal.

I would look for colors and patterns that stand out because of contrast, since most of the actual color is filtered out or altered by the water.
In off color water, I like red, shades of orange other than flo. orange, bumble-bee has been good if the yellow is a flat yellow. Lures with broad bars...like bumble bee, have worked for me, and they are easy for me to see during the retrieve instead of just wishing that I could see the lure.
Try lime green with orange perch bars I make a pattern that color just for flowages. It's ugly out of the water, but muskies in stained water seem to like it.

I've painted a couple of lures with gold spray paint. I never change a bait's color unless I've thrown it alot without success. I found I got some action on the gold with a red or orange belly. It probably simulates carp, as they are plentiful forage on some lakes.
