The MuskieFIRST Chat room has been visited by a few folks as of late who seem to be bent on ruining everyone elses experience. If you are in the room, and someone gets to misbehaving, simply click on and highlight the name or names of the offending party or parties, and click on 'ignore'. The ignore button is right next to the Private Message button on the right hand lower side of the page, under all the usernames. The comments made by those parties will simply not show on your screen.

Until you click on that name again, they will simply not show up on your screen. This doesn't have any effect on your Private Messaging or other functions. If we all practice this and simply ignore the 'snipers', they will quickly get bored and leave.

Zach and I are working with Jason Smith and Steve Cady to keep things there clean and enjoyable. It is truly unfortunate there are people out there with so little to do with their time that they have to try to make trouble for the rest of us!!

The good news is...They CAN'T!!![] [] [:sun:] [:0] [;)] [:)] [:p]

I keep a tub of pliable wax on the desk...when 1 of these characters shows up, I make a doll in the shape of their name + procede to bend + twist the figure...before long they dissapear! the ones that linger require a "ZIPPO" treatment.[:sun:]

I like Spongeys method, but already have used Steves the last time. I think it was the auction. Just hit ignore and they disapear.

Very good post steve. Use judgement, if you see these guys in here just trying to make trouble just ignore them. They have enough problems without giving us some.

Great advice Steve, I guess no ones mind can be changed through a few sentences in the chat room. We can't let the nay sayers get under our skin. We have the best website in the business. We all have to be wary of folks that are just trying to rile us up.

This is kinda like sending someone to the corner if they are bad. The nice thing is, we dont have to listen to them scream.

Soon they will understand and join in the learning process, because that is what this site is all about.

So that's why no one would respond to me last night [;)]

I had this happened only once to me in this chat room and I told the clown as well as others that I was putting him on ignore and others said the same and this clown was gone in under a minute. []

No,no Slamr. We were all commenting on how calm you have become since your nuptials....married life must agree with you or she is beating the heck out of you (which can actually be enjoyable from time to time).

Yeah, I have been good this year, why is that? Oh yeah, I forgot my boots in Jason's truck, and I would like them back.

We need some sort of 3 dimensional graphics in the chat room so when they come on and make me mad I can punch the screen and it will come out there end,So they can feel it!!Or just a bloody fist graphic will do!Right beaver

Amen to that! I live and fish with these guys, most are good friends, and I Agree with most of thier points, however I cannot and will not support the useless slaughter of fish.I'd like to catch one of those big ones one day, besides arguing wont accomplish anything.[:)]

However, the useless slaughter of attorneys might not be such a bad thing.

Yes, there were three guys in there last night. I just hit ignore after i had some fun, making fun of them (they did not even know it) and they eventually just went away.
