Posts: 7038 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Maybe Boro or Vince W can answer this, question, but I will possibly have 3 in my boat, can we enter this tourney? Also for others interested: Webster Lake Musky Club Ice On Challenge Details: November 18, 2006 Registration: 7:00-7:30am at Ye Old Tackle parking lot. Time: outing starts and ends: 8:00am - 4:00pm. Food: Right after the outing. Gathering location for food: To be determined. Cost: $10:00 per person. Where to fish: Webster, Loon, Barbee, Tippy or wherever you want to. Note: They also plan on holding a raffle at the food gathering. You do not need to be a member of Muskies Inc. or it's chapters to attend. It is for a very good cause. Last summer Jeff and Grant Bruce, both members of Michigan Muskie Alliance, were out muskie fishing on Thornapple Lake in Michigan. Something happened that caused both of them to go into the water. The next morning the boat was found empty along the shoreline. Jeff and Grant were found a couple of day's later. MMA is setting up or has set up an account to help Jeff's surviving daughter Gabriel. The proceeds from the 2006 Ice-On Challunge will help fund that account. Good luck out there! This is why we had to move the date and place to Indiana!! I hope to see all of you at this outing. Click Here for Details If you dont want to fish but wish to donate, you can contact me at [email protected] or 260-385-0623. Sounds like a good cause, and its only $10! If you're going to be there anyways...

Posts: 1080 | Don't let this event get confused with an actual tournement. It's a fund raiser outing. As I understand things, any and all can enter. I don't believe there's any limit to number of people in a boat. There are no limitations to artificials only either, meaning, live bait can be used. There's also free reign as to what water you fish in that surrounding area. Again..this is not a tournament....just a lot of anglers getting together for a good cause...

Slamr - There isn't an individual prize, your points are counted toward your chapter team points. You could have five in your boat if you want. Edited by Will Schultz 11/14/2006 11:10 AM

Well... since it is a chapter challunge I guess you need to belong to one of the chapters since we're just competing for a travelling trophy. You are, of course, more than welcome to make the donation and come to lunch at 4:00 at the pavillion next to the Pizza King. There will be some cool raffle stuff too.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Usually for our fall challunge it's been WLMC vs. MMA. Since WLMC agreed to hold it for us in Indiana this year we kept it low key with the WLMC, Hoosiers and MMA. However, if you can find 6 guys from any other chapter interested we would welcome them into the challunge with open arms (6 members from a chapter is the long standing rule for a "team"). Posts: 1060 Location: Palm Coast, FL | I believe there were 4 or 5 chapters that were at the ice out challenge in the spring. The WLMC is very happy to hold this event for the MMC! Many thanks go out ahead of time for all that join in or donate! Thanks Will for clearing everything up. If anyone else has questions/comments/concerns you can either email me at [email protected] or call me on my cell 574/551-0214.
