| easy answer, don't sell the jackpots...jackpot can be used as much more of a search bait for active fish...weagle is usually worked best alot slower than a jackpot...don't sell em... |

| Never threw a Jackpot. I've only thrown the weagle this year but from experience it works when used both fast or slow. Not to mention it has 3 trebles so you usually get the hooks into the fish and hook them good. I have heared a lot of people say a lot of fish get off on the Jackpot. But thats just what people say. I want to find out for myself. Plenty of video on both lures catch a lot of fish and big fish at that.

| The Poe's Giant Jackpot is a good search bait that can be worked fast like the Baby Weagle, and fish love them
The Weagle is better once you have a fish located and you want to camp on her  |

| They are different baits. Each has their time and place.
That said, I dont throw Jackpots anymore. If I am walkin' the dog, its a Weagle. I can work it fast as a search bait or slow it down when I have a fish located.
Wanna see something really cool? Try working a Wabull nice and fast right under the surface...I think you'll like it

Location: Rhinelander. | Alot of the action you guys describe is like working the old zig zag bait> I can work it just at the surface or under and count it down if I want to. I to use the other two but not alot as I only throw surface baits a small part of time I am on water.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Weagles will behave as you want them to, just work 'em, make them dance. I let Slamr take my Jackpots, but he CAN'T have my Weagles. I have a couple Docs too, good lures, but very predictable and they don't like to dance.
And Baldy is correct, the Wabull will do it, and do it well, only to pop down to as deep as you like on the edge of the stuff or on the breakline, it's the ultimate change-up lure. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I work her rather erratically, and make the lure follow the rod tip. If you stop a Wabull almost pointing at the boat and give her a single downward tap, the lure will go nearly straight down. |

Others take note: Use your dominate hand to work the lure with your rod.
To PP1.02, they are two different baits. It like comparing a TopRaider with a Hawg Wobbler. One you use for a search bait and the other as a spot on a spot bait when you have fish marked. |

Fishing smaller rivers will show you that a jackpot sized lure is often neccessary for the speed and size it possesses. That said, I have a friend that is making an awesome lure now called the G Log and he makes them in several sizes. While I still own weagles and jackpots, the G Logs have become first off the shelf because they simply work better than either of the others for me. |
