| I was going to retrofit my Abu Garcia reels with Gator Grips, but was told that they will not work for left hand retreive reels (no problem with the handle itself, but the threading on the nut). Thus, I thought I'd give the Power Grips a try, but understand that they have only one big paddle. I don't know if I'd like that. Any response one way or the other from users greatly appreciated. |

| Dude...there is a little kit for the Gator Grip w/ a nut that fits but I can't think of where I saw it...someone here should be able to tell you...maybe 5-6 $$$?[:sun:] |

| I have gator grips with the special nuts on all my reels. The gator grips are $7 and the nuts are $2 for a pack of 2, only need one per reel. |

I'm aware of the nuts, Rollie and Helen's sells them for $1.99 the pair, but they told me that they will not work on left hand retreive reels.

| I think you would be happy with the single paddle Power handle. You can order them straight from Abu. If you do a search, you should be able to find the part numbers and everything. Just be sure to specify left handed, my handles are for righty's. I dont know if it makes a differance with the power handles. If you have trouble finding it, let me know, I will look it up, thx. |
