Hey. For all of you that use 2-Way radios what have you found to be the best kind and have the longest range? I have been looking at the Midlands http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=82842&hvar... . Every 2-way radio i have looked at says they require fcc licenses to operate? Is all 2 ways like this now. How do i go about getting a license and do they cost? I wouldent think that you would need a license to operate a 10-18 mile range 2 way but i could be wrong. Thanks for any info!

you don't need a liscense for frs band two way radios
