Da Ratt is a sweet sounding wide-wobbling flap tail type bait. Excels under calm conditions, any bit of chop and you lose the sound. Takes a little bit to get the right retrieve speed down for maximum sound, but once you do it sounds great. Kind of an erratic sound with the tail flapping and pushes a heck of a lot of water. I also like the hook arrangement since the bait is a little on the bulky side. The wire is very solid and should hold up to a fair amount of abuse. All that being said, I have yet to catch one on it but I still keep it around "just in case."

sweet bait!! He has a winner with da ratt, and the new jointed one is bound to make them even angrier. Very good throw back, and surprisingly decent in the chop.

I recommend the bait highly. It does have alot of drag, I reccomend a reel with a lower gear ratio. For some reason, fish cream this bait and believe it or not, every fish I have caught, I removed both trables from it's mouth. Here is a musky that i caught with it. My buddy made fun of this lure, that is untill I threw it. First cast, wow that looks neat in the water. Second cast 5ft swish, boom!
