me and Slamr are going to do some trolling on an unknown and underfished body of water that hasn't recently been the site of a tournament.

what are YOU doing to find muskies this weekend?

The Dude and I are going to win a tournament.
And then beat the young Mahlberg to the can.

Good Luck Lambeau and Slama

I will be spending saturday morning fishing the *cough* "beautiful" Lake Shabbona, to try and become the fist muskie fisherman to actually catch a state record muskie in Illinois, and then get up nice and early on Sunday to go cheer on my girlfriend while pondering why 40,000 people would actually want to run 26.2 miles post September 27, 1908.

with the kids walking the trails hoping to shoot a grouse or 3 ... maybe drag a little meat around the pool later on saturday ... lots of family in town before the folks head out to the sunny state of AZ. ... if they're gone early sunday a little "me" time onthe water .... do a little laundry. just got the word it's back to china the day after presque isle for a week in paradise. no rest for the weary .... you'd think being this busy would cut some weight.

now i'm tired ... i think i'll have some ice cream.

I will be on Lac Courte Oreilles for a few days.
Dragging meat, jigging fuzzy's, tossing bulldawgs and weighted EZ-E's.
Probably troll a little too- 13" grandmas, big believers and jointed depth raiders.
Plus pulling the dock & boat lift out for the season.

Sounds like Mr. Worrall and I will be hitting up the walleyes tomorrow night possible, but maybe we can get some musky fishing in before dark if possible. I know I probably should be musky fishing but those walleyes are just too much fun and I need some fish in the freezer hopefully!

Me & Mauser are hitting the Cave for a few days next week, so this weekend is getting the honey-do list caught up with a bit of home remodeling. My chimney caught fire last spring, so I had a Metalbestos chimney installed. They say it works better if enclosed, so I've been building a 2x4 box around it, now it's time to add the siding and be done. Been a while since I've been on a ladder, my knees are killin me. Just don't want to screw up my casting hand hammering. m

Riggin up a rear casting deck for my boat so Mike doesn't fall in ( again ) in the frigid waters in Presque Isle . Then , clean the garage , get all my crap together for the P.I. outing , then get all my crap together for deer hunting , after that I'm going to sit in the bar where it won't be freezing rain and snow . I'd love to get out but I'd have to sleep in my clean garage !!
