| Clubs are great, but the most valuable time you could spend in that area is on a lake with some of the great guides the area has to offer. Check out Ken Jackson (Jackson's Lakeside Cottages), on Little Saint Germaine. He knows pretty much every lake up there worth fishing for Musky. Another great resource up there is Ray's Landing baitshop for helping you choose a guide, lure, lake, etc. |

| I would agree guides are one of the best ways to learn that area..if you want one of the best guides that sorta flies under the radar and boats as many big fish in that area as anyone look up Doug Smith out of Rollies...he knows the Lac Du Flambeau lakes as well as anyone.
Another top choice to get would be Howie Meyer...go fishing with him and ask him everything you can think of!
Clubs are great source too...but guides will shorten your learning curve faster than anything in my book...btw the lake you are on is a great musky lake..and the other one connected! but i'm sure you know this! congrats on moving up there |
