| Good spot's always a good spot. Check the same archives for some of his articles on Wabigoon and Nipissing. He's a not a muskie guy, but he's spent some time on some great water with some great muskie fishermen. That site also has a species-specific section, back issue articles on all fish. Lonnie King, Drew Myers (Editor's son) and a few other guys describe fishing with Bill Craig, Gord Bastable, Hedrik Wachekla, Jeff Steinke. OOD is our best fishing rag by a country mile. |

Location: Contrarian Island | no doubt..good info to remember ...one thing i find myself having to remember is to slowwww down in the fall..not necessarily the bait speed as I think speed can be a trigger in cold temps too...but more so working a spot..this weekend i want to really work some spots..even with multiple baits and multiple depths..if fish don't show on bait #1, i'm gonna hang out and try bait #2 and maybe bait #3...if they are there they may not move on the 1st or 2nd bait....just gotta remember to really work over good spots in the fall and not run and gun like summer and warmer temps...
