Posts: 32880 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Jim Kalkofen, Exec. Director of the In Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail has been fishing Muskie water this year, and it's paid off again! Remember the 4 footer on the pin spinner a few weeks back off Mille Lacs? Jim sent this picture of a Muskie he caught in a Minnesota river last week. The fish was over 50" and was his personal best. Pictures are coming of his son Nate's 47 caught the same day. Careful, Jim, this kind of action might just get you hooked on the Muskies again... | What a beautiful fish! I'm thinking it's one incredibly marked LL fish... or maybe a Great Lakes strain instead? Hmmm. Hard telling. No matter. Love the spots. And that guy must have some skills to horse in a river pig like that... but then he shows us how he can walk on water in the release pic!  Man...now that's just braggin'.  | |||
