My family and I had to put our cockapoo of 11 years 2 months to sleep tonight...she had a tumor the size of a grapefruit in her stomach and cushings disease on top of that...she went down hill Friday morning and was a real struggle for her since...she hadn't eaten or drank in 3 days and we knew it was time...her lungs began to fill with fluid today and her breathing became worse and worse...we took her to the emergency clinic around 6:30 and ended all her pain...she is in a better place and will be missed greatly by our family...she was the best dog anyone could ask for...she was always happy to see you no matter how bad of day you had even till the end...my you sleep in peace girl...We Love You and ALWAYS Will...

Sorry to hear you lost such a good friend. Dogs are certainly "man's best friend". Like you said, they are happy at all times and just love being with us.

Pets are awesome but they are so hard to lose when it's that time. Sorry to hear about your loss.

Yep, I know what you are going through. I had to put our 15 yr. Golden Retriever down 10 days ago, but Perc, for the time you have them and for all the unconditional love they give it's still worth the emotional investment in having them.
