Location: Northern Wisconsin | if i am going to use .051 thick wire should i buy clevises with hole diameters of .051 or should i go
up to the next size of .066 for room to spin? any tips would help.

Location: The Yahara Chain | The bigger clevis won't go through the hole on most blades. I have some of those bigger ones and they only work with my #8 fluted blades and my #10 Colorados.
I have been using .045 wire for years and have never had a problem with it.

Location: oswego, il | This is true on the clevis. You can drill the hole in the blade bigger though. You can also use a smaller folded clevis, they have bigger holes as well. |

Location: London, England | A folding clevis (like Mepps use) is better as it doesn't distort like the solid ones can and so always spins freely. |
