Hey guys, I have always owned c3's and was wondering about the calcutta 401 or 400 as I am left handed. Spinnerbaits are wearing me out and I wasnt sure getting a little nicer reel would benefit or if it is worth it to spend that on them.- Will

they are very smooth, and will lessen your fatigue greatly. The $350 is very steep, but if thats what youre looking for.

In my opinion, there is no better reel. I have 2 401's. Very smooth and reliable reel. But yes they are spendy.

I have the 401 TE and it's great. Lots of power/torque. But I also have the new Abu Record RCN61 and like it overall very much. Add a power handle to it and it would take care of anything you throw at it. You can save the $ for boat gas
