Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | With as good as those baits are, cover girls don't last long on that page. Amazing fish - congrats to the skillful (I'd say 'lucky' but I know better) anglers. Sorno

Posts: 2378 | The pic on the cover is a much better pic of Jonesi's fish. You can really see the width on that hog.

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Baldy, I can't unload the pics from my camera, the pins are bent in the camera. I am using a memory card now but I will get you the pictures of the hogs we got using your Double XX bucktails after I send the camera in for repair. The Double XX bucktails are the real deal.

Posts: 2378 | tfootstalker - 8/22/2006 8:49 AM An honest question here... What makes the XX different from other double bladed bucktails? The blades? Dressing - marabou versus silicone or tinsel the others (marabou also makes the bait cast better) Construction - .062 wire versus .051 on the others

Posts: 2378 | Yep, I'm not claiming by bait is better (besides saying they cast better, which IMO, they do). I was simply answering the question that was asked of me. I simply pointed out the differences. There is no denying that the Cowgirls put many big fish in the boat. I was just trying to congratulate a couple friends on a couple of great fish caught on a bait that I make.

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | I used the Cow Girls and Double XX while on Mille Lacs. The Double XX did seem to cast farther and they caught me all my fish. Now that may be because they caught me the first muskie on my only Double XX after using the Cow Girl for a day and then running into Steve Jonesi and working over his stash in his boat. Seriously, after Steve turned me on to the baits I never took them off. Why? Because they were getting more action than my parters and I was catching more fish. Big blades, durable maraboo and well constructed. I can't wait to see the options they are going to come out with. Different skirts, colors, sizes of blades, etc.......... Well maybe it's too early to hope for that...............
