At the Milwaukee Musky Show it was meeting people as many people that frequent Muskie First as possible as well as see friends from the industry.
I think the combination of good speakers and the tackle manufacturers is what drives people to come. The best is when there is a buzz about the next "must have" bait. It's great to be able to talk to the manufacturers and see what is new for the year.
Another thing is the stores that take the time to pack up their goods and bring them to the show. It makes it very convenient to shop for things and not have to pay for shipping. They usually run some good show deals on things as well. |

| 1. Manufacturers and the new stuff they bring and the great old stuff that we all need more of.
2. Seminars are great, but I have a different slant on the Muskie fishing bug as I am mostly interested in the tournament end of things. So I seem to always be looking for numbers versus size. Not many seminars talking about this angle on things. Could this be why the trully big fish don't seem to come my way?
3. Comraderie, the shows, especially the MN Expo is where I can see all of the guys I have come to know over the years. I used to fish the WPMA years ago and a lot of the guys that fished that circuit turn up at the shows every year.
4. This year I will be looking forward to meeting the folks from Muskie first and the guys that are members that post on the board.
5. Refreshments, ya baby ya!!!!!!!!!!

| I like all of those things in the shows and I wish more shows would have pool demos like chicago. Especially a new angler like me I like to learn a bunch of stuff at these shows and its amazing how much more I know after going to a show then the day before. |

| Cheese pretzels, by far the best reason!!!!!
Meeting the guy's that stopped by was great this year. You talk to so many people over the weekend and with muskiefirst.com now you can put a face with the name. ( in some case's it was better the old way)

| I think the tackle manufacturers and seminars are what draw me from the list you gave, but I would say those are still secondary for me.
The real reason to go to the muskie shows or other fishing or boating shows is that they are an escape: an escape from winter (not that we've really had any here in Minnesota); and an escape from our "regular" lives (at least, for those of us who don't fish for a living).
It also gives us a mid-way point through the winter that we can look forward to. I know I break up winter into pieces--just get through the holidays, then make it to the sport shows, then the next thing you know its spring and the fish will be biting. Funny how during the winter your havefar more memories of fish biting than when you're actually sitting in your boat during the summer.
I don't know if this was helpful if you were trying to figure out draw more people, but is probably pretty true for a lot of people.

| I have been to chicago, Waukesha, milwaukee,,,will be at Minnesota(funnest) and the new london show,,,I call it the "HALLOWEEN SYNDROME" When I was a kid halloween was my favorite day of the year dress up go house to house and get free goodies with each house a surprise has to what you will get snickers, carmel apple, nickels & dimes,,,now that Im grown up {physicly} I view musky shows like halloween I still get dressed up but in my musky garb, MI jacket, muskie t shirt, and vikings hat if its a wsc show where I can make cheeseheads mad,,,, instead of going house to house you go from booth to booth gathering goodies
but you dont get them free but they dont rot your teeth either like candy, Then when you get home you go through your bag and check out everything you got,,,Who says you have to grow up
