How'd you do over the weekend chasing Muskies? Any success to report?

Sue and I fished bluegills Saturday morning, and had family stuff to do the rest of the weekend.

stuck at a wedding and more baseball games but i got a report out of minnesota.... nelson with a 49.75, sled with a 45.5 and hulbert with a 48.5 and a 43.5 as of noon on monday!!........way to go fellas!!! update.... hulbert with a late nite 46" but then this i guess no longer falls into a weekend catagory..in the words of nelson "ya its been tough"

Went out yesterday with couple of buddies, My friend Scott Hanson hooked up with a real nice 47" & Adam a 35" & caught a 24" walleye, this walleye was the fattest ive seen for its size , caught a few northerns also and had a few other follows. Was a great morning! Top water was hot!!!!
leaving to head up to LOTW-Sabaskong, this week on WED thru sunday, was anyone up there last week?????

Not much muskie fishing for me this summer between a new job and planning my wedding- Just got married July 1st - Couple a weeks in Mexico (caught 4 large sailfish)

Finally got the wife out for our first muskie trip together. - We had a great day as she was able to land her first muskie ever (and second) a 37" and 36" ....and had another on! I am a lucky man she loves the outdoor! I will try to post a couple of pics when I get time.

Lost a musky snax, didnt move a single fish, not even a little pike, got really sunburnt....what fun!

Fishing was a little off this weekend for me. I did manage to get a 44.5, 43, 40, and a 37 but had to really work to find the fish.

The cooler weather and north winds made things a little tough...and goes to show you, no matter what the moon phase is WEATHER always trumps it.

Nice looking fish there JJ!

4 fish in an off weekend?!?! Wow, must be rough!

When fishing is off for me, I may only see a few fish, if any. When I catch one, fishing is no longer "off". When I catch four in a weekend, the fishing is on fire!

A matter of perspective, I suppose . . .

I am with lardonstick on this one. What is it like for you when fishing is on? 4 over 40" and it's a little off! LOL

I think you guys are blowing those stats out of proportion. He didn't catch '4 over 40" ', he only caught 3 over 40 and a dinky 37" fish. So it probably was an off weekend. Gotta get your figures right guys!

nice fish jj .... sorry i missed you at otto's .... twas the night before the trip to minnie, so got back home a bit early and heard from joey that you had scored the mid 40's. we're having a great time started fishing saturday night over here with mike and kevin ... these guys know their water well and although it's been lots of hours, so far so good.

break time now, supposed to cloud up for hopefully a good day yet today ... be home friday, so shout if you're in the woods ...

well the final word out of the bemidji loooong (extended) weekend, of nelson and sled invading the land of purple was 8 fish over 41.5.... biggest 49.75 way to go boys!!!!! in the words of ladykiller nelson "ya it was a "tough" long weekend but we did pretty good"......im sure that bemidji guide team of hulbert and cochran had alot to do with it!!!! now i wake up and i get a late nite text message the boys stopped at millacs on the way home to fish with steve jonesi and they got a 46.5 and a 43.5 wow!!! great job sled and nellie!!! im sure more "tough" fishing!!! boy do i want to borrow the horseshoe they got stuck somewhere!!!

Ok, so it's not from the weekend, but Wednesday night instead. I finally got the stink out this year. Took a 41" on a Bulldog. My MI Chapter has a Wednesday night fishing league, where we fish from 6-9pm. 7 Fish were caught tonight, including a 46", 49", and a 52". Not a bad evening. I'd have posted a photo of mine, but while she was in the net I noticed the water temp was around 80 degrees. No need to prolong her being in that warm water any more than she already was, so I just let her go. Now for fish number two................
