anyone with hydraulic steering .... if you haven't serviced the system in awhile, put it on your list. had a system leak in mine and found out going on plane and not having any steering at all. check yours, bleed the lines add correct levels or ask on your next service interval. glad mine happened at home and not on a trip. boatless for a little bit, but again glad it didn't happen under other circumstances.

Hey Sled,

Sounds like a fitting on the cylinder worked loose; was there oil all over the place? If you watch the cylinder when you steer hard right, it does twist up and sometimes CAN work the end fitting loose. I have what you need here in the way of oil, etc. if you need it.
