| Thanks Todd, those giant buzz baits you made look great and if they like the small stuff then those are even worse in the wind LOL Steve | |||

Posts: 65 Location: Springfield, IL and Vermilion Bay, ON | The rule in Ontario is that your boat and its equipment should be legal in your home state. If so, then you are okay in their eyes in Ontario. But a wise idea would be to post on the Andy Myers site and ask the same question.

Posts: 2037 Location: lansing, il | the tackle shop in vermillion bay sells those small orange canada boating safty kits. ive seen them in there, they are the same kits that are in all the lodge boats...other than that for andy myers here is a list of all that you will need..... 1 bottle of crown for herbie 1 bottle of crown for cal 1 case of blue for mike then you will be dialed in for the week!

Posts: 734 Location: Watertown, MN | Like muskihntr said 2 bottles of crown, I case of blue would be worth lots of info. Say hi to herbie, mike and cal 2 years since I have been there, still trying to find a way there this year. Long as boat is legal in your state it is fine there, no alcohol in boat. Bring plenty of dawgs, big funky chinkens, harrasser, mepps giant killers, twin teaser topwater, grandma's, eagle tails. Herbie and the crew will get you on fish, the rest is up to you. Troyz

| Down east is treacherous, only because the Indian's pull all the bouy's. Since you'll be staying at Herbies, look for the rock markers, but be careful if you go east. Secondly, buy the safety kit at Bobby's....tell Alan Donnie sent you, and you'll pay more....he is very amusing. Lastly, make sure you have these: Bucktails: Blk/Org, Blk/Red, Blk/Sil, Blk/Char, Nat/Gold, Blk/Blk, perch....bring them all....from 700 Buchertails, to mdeium VooDooTails, to Eagletails. Surface Baits: Globe style, Creepers, Topraider, Mag Teasertail, TWIN Teasertails/TWIN Stompers, TWIN Topraiders in the same colors as above. Loon is a great color in TR's, as is Frog/Blk & Org. Minnowbaits: Jakes, Grandmas, & Granny's....blk/silver prism, blk/gold prism, tennessee shad, muskie, pink/pearl, perch, walleye Jerkbaits: Big Joes, Bulldawgs, Suicks, Foolers, Amma Bamas, Hughes River slide baits....black, white, org/gold, blk/org, cisco, purple, walleye Jigs: Esox Cobra jigs, shad bodies....blk/org, char/org I am trying to get up there to see you all!! Posts: 189 Location: Hoboken, NJ / North Webster, IN | All I can say is Black and Orange topraider!!! Just got back form Andy Meyers, and though nothing was huge.....my dad caught 3 muskie(all around 40" and fat) in about 18 hours on that lure only. Caught one about 9:15pm, and then caught 2 the next day before 3pm. Beautiful lake!!! Josh | ||
