Location: Eau Claire, WI | Hi all. Getting tired of the giant electric spaghetti blob over my battery. I'm about to add yet another device to the boat and those wing nuts can only hold so much. HA! figure I should do it right.
What is a good place to obtain marine electric supplies?

| Marinco should make what you are looking for. Boat US, and West Marine usually carry a good selection. The new, huge Fleet Farm in Appleton has a great marine department.
I work for an electrical distributor, so I use what samples we have on hand. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Another place to look is the car audio shops, they have a lot of wiring devices that can handle multiple taps and are weather resistant as they are made to be mounted in the engine compartments of vehicles. You can run 6-8 gauge wire to one of these and either use in-line fuses or some of these are an actual small fuse panel. I used this on my Lakeland and it worked real well. I have also used these on some of our fire apparatus and they have seen lot's of bad weather and we have had no problems. |
