we didn't fish much at all, only two hours on george, and saw...zip. I know Norm got into a fish or two up North.

How'd you do? Any big girls?

Did some night fishing on Saturday. I lost about about a 36 and boated a 39-40 on a XX (that bait is starting to put some fish in the boat, especially at night). Partner boated a FAT 46 on a spinnerbait.

Good, fun night on the water.

I havent fished much this year, but have had only one unsuccessful trip. Lets hope it stays that way...

Took the family camping and fishing on Flaming Gorge Reservoir for the weekend. Pineview is just too much of a zoo w/ recreational boaters on holiday weekends to be much fun. We fished for kokanee salmon, lake trout, rainbow trout and smallmouth bass and were successful on all of them. Quite a few fish, just not much for size. Hit a real fun topwater bit on the smallmouth. I put a representative pic of the kokanee on SalmonFIRST.

Had a great weekend. Got out salmon trolling for the first time with Slamr and Musky Mike. We got 2 and lost 2, pics and story on Salmonfirst. I'm definitely going to be doing more of that. Then Sunday, I got out with my nephew and he scored his first at 43"s. Not bad for his second time musky fishing. It hit right at the boat too on a TR. I think he's still shaking. We lost one other and raised a few more as well.

I managed to get the boat hooked up to the truck , that's the extent of my fishing this weekend !! Muskie Mike ans I were going to get out an monday , but he overslept and I woke up to thunder and lightning and the radar showed no signs of breaking anytime soon ... it was a good thing he overslept or we would've sat in the truck at the launch for at least half the day !!! I don't mess with lightning , not worth the risk just to catch a fish .

I took my son and daughter out on Lake Michigan Tuesday morning, with Bill Schwartz. We caught 8 chinooks and missed 20!! The kids aren't used to handling salmon tackle, but it was tough sledding anyhow. We had a great time, thanks Bill.
I spent the rest of the day working on my Magnum. Muskies Beware!

Had extended family in town over the weekend, but managed to get out twice for some morning rowtrolling. Stepbrother got one decent muskie, I landed a nice walleye as well. Had another rip a board and come unpinned. Boat traffic at it's summer peak, night fishing from here on out.

The trolling fun has just begun around here. I was out Monday and got a 33, 38 and 41-incher. Took the 4th off and got back out this morning for more action while most people were at work, got a 37 3/4 and a 34 by 10am. Took the afternoon to spend time with my kids and see my mom in the hospital. She fractured her pelvis yesterday as we were gearing up for the party at our cottage. Bummer.........

Well back out for more muskies, ya got to love vactions. Plant shutdown this week and muskies on the brain for me all week.

Sanks.................See ya on the water with Net Man.

That 39 looks like a tiger to me, or was it just from different water. the others look like dark water fish, but that one is purdy.

Mike, I hope your wife heels up soon. That sounds serious.

I stayed home. I way overspent last week on doing cool stuff with my kids. Will make it up quick, we are still on mandatory overtime!
