Hey guys, I just wanted to share how I got my wife excited for some musky fishing. Now I understand some of you DON"T want your wives/girlfriends to be involved and that is fine, I guess.

About three weeks ago I ordered some Hoosier Handmades, a crankbait and a glider to be exact. I decided that I would get the crankbait for my wife, I got it in "girlie" colors and most importantly I had Don personalize it...To Laura Love Doug. Sound tacky? Well you should have seen her face when she saw it, it was awesome! On our last two fishing trips she used it almost exclusively, so instead of switching baits every ten minutes she was pumped to stick one on it and she did! but it got off after a short battle (still cool though). So yesterday I ordered her a pink bulldawg, Pink double cowgirl, and a pink lac seul mini from R & H.

To me, it is a small price to pay to fish with my fav fishing partner, I wish I would have done this a LONG time ago!

Oh and BTW the Hoosier Handmades were AWESOME and Don can personalize any bait to say whatever you want. To Bob Love Jim or whatever you sicko's want.

Here's to next weekend, may we all survive the long weekend!

Don't forget to get her her own rod and reel. My wife has 2 custom made rods with her name on them. Nobody uses her rods!

Sue has her own tackle box loaded up with baits. it helps that her birthday is usually during the Tri Esox Show, muskie bait folks are generous to a fault. She has three rods and reels, her own boat, and all the stuff that goes along with it.

Nice to have my lady as a fishing AND a life partner. Hell on wheels with the Frabill, too.

What a great deal Steve, forget the flowers, candy and gold, just give me a Weagle, Cattalla, and one of Franks Custom Rods. Come to think of it I think that the flowers, candy and gold is cheaper.

A word to all you single dudes, "Marry a girl that likes to do the things you do" or pay the price later.

I know of a 49" fish caught this year on a pink Grandma that said "I Love You" on the side. They don't just look pretty, they can also catch some fish.
