He was a very popular US Senator a while back. That doesn't explain to me why there's his stuff on ebay though. Junk collectors...

never understood why people get all caught up on az politician, let alone collect and sell campaign stuff from him. I read another article on muksy fishing in LOTW but that was on Muskie Ed. He made the finest bucktailspinnerbaits I ever saw, all from saddle hackles! Man, they were at least 10" long. Does anybody know this ed?

"The man from Maine" he was called. Walked around like there was a broomstick.... For a real funny account of the late Mr. M, read Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail". good stuff. m

why was this ed musky so popular? Other than his name, I mean! Does he actually have anything to do with fishing or is that just a downside of typing 'musky' in the search frame

He ran for President, and actually was one of the early leaders of the environmental movement in the states. I guess he wasn't THAT popular. Lots better than what runs for that office these days, though. No one would have heard of him if he was born to Mr. & Mrs. Carp! m
