I run my dad's 1978 BassTracker about everywhere, great little boat. Can you do any better for the money? Maybe not.
A whole lot of boat questions revolve around your personal tastes, habits, and the waters and kind of fishing you do. If you're looking for a big water boat, this prolly ain't it.
I like the way mine trolls, and you can do good 8's from both the front and back casting.

Since you say you're buying new, ask the dealer to refer you to some of his recent buyers, get a ride and try before you buy. good luck. m

ps. you can go to www.bassboatcentral.com, they have a whole section for boat owners of different brands to share discussions, try browsing their Tracker forum. m
