| I want some good colored blades. I have been using lakeland and now every lure I make, the blades lose their color in a matter of a few hours. I am looking for the magnum 10 size blades that will keep their color for at least a few weeks. Any ideas would be great. |

Location: oswego, il | I spray all my blades with clearcoat. I just use some rustoleum. Most blades come with a flat paint so it sticks easy. I usually do two coats each side. Here are some websites to check out:

| Does this affect the action at all and how long does it usually last. Thanks for the input so far. |

Location: oswego, il | It helps the paint stay on better. I don't put a thick coat on. You will always have some paint wear around the clevise to sart off anyway. |
